I would not recommend Pediatric Dentistry of East Lansing I was disappointed with my experience at this dental office. Throughout my interactions, I found the customer service to be lacking both in person and over the phone. Staff members came across as dismissive and insensitive, which made what should have been a routine dental experience feel uncomfortable and frustrating. I believe patients should be treated with professionalism, respect, and empathy, regardless of the circumstances. Unfortunately, I did not feel valued as a patient, and my concerns were not handled in a way that reflected good customer care. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this office to others seeking a welcoming and patient-centered environment.

My young kids saw Lisa this past week. I knew taking the x-rays was going to be a challenge and probably some tears. Much to my surprise, Lisa talked both of my children through taking their “Princess and Spider-Man pictures” and was successful with no tears! She was fast and efficient, but also compassionate with my kids. I was pleasantly surprised! Thank you, Lisa!

My children went here twice. My youngest had a cavity that they said needed a cap against my better judgement I told them I would look at all the information. Not only did insurance not cover anesthesia for the procedure you had to pay up front for the appointment to be scheduled. I paid the $1,000 to make sure my child was comfortable but the day of the appointment was extremely concerning. We arrived and they asked me to come back to an office to go over paperwork. I sat in that office for over a half hour waiting to sign paperwork. While in there I overheard the back office staff making fun of patients who can’t afford the payment for the anesthesia for their child to schedule the appointment and laughing about it. It was extremely uncomfortable. Once the hygienist came into the office she asked me for my signature to waive my right to sue if while in their care something happens to my child. I asked her who is responsible then and she said that’s a good question I don’t know. Also, the payment for anesthesia was billed based on time. So I set my timer on my phone as soon as they took my child back. From that time to the time they came back to get me the procedure took 26 minute

I had to give a huge shout out to this dentistry staff for my son with autism they were amazing! Lisa the hygienist was so positive from the start to the end of the appointment, she allowed him breaks between tasks without ever getting upset and knowing there was another appointment after us she took her time. Even after the appointment said if you’d like to make your appointment with me again for consistacy of care you can and I know it was a challenging appointment she was still open to trying to do what she could to help my son feel as comfortable as possible! I can’t tell you enough you made a difference in our whole families life with one appointment. I will continue to spread your dentistry name as somewhere for families to go. Thank you so much for all you all do!

Been taking my daughter to Pediatric Dentistry of East Lansing for a few years now. We tried my dentist but it just did not work and even he said, "there are pediatric dentists now that were not readily available when we were kids..." and, "she is welcome to return in a few years, but she needs to go visit Dr. Jake and his crew for a bit." That is just what we did. Took a month or so to get in and since... It has been a dream. She is intuitive and wants to often know the why and not once have they dismissed, discounted or hurried her - while at the same time, it is swift and quick and we are never there long. And now their new office - oh my goodness... it is beautiful. Call today!
